Q) What
makes you so different from other
providers?
A) There are many differences between
Caremark and other providers. Here are a few;
-
We have dedicated Field Care
Supervisors that have the sole purpose of
checking and assessing our Carers and your needs
on a continual basis. Our Supervisors do not
have a case load of their own so that 95% of
their time is spent in the field ensuring you
get a good care service.
-
We DO NOT operate restricted
round systems, we always allow time
flexibility in between visits - so your
Carers won't be super stressed or in a super
hurry to get out and move on to the next
Client.
-
We operate Client Matching.
This means you will have consistency in the
Carers that come to you. You will see the same
people and not a torrid of strangers.
-
Our
Carers will stay for the entire allocated time
and not leave you before that time is up UNLESS
you ask them too. So 30 minutes
is 30 minutes not 7 minutes or 11 minutes!
-
Our office is managed by
qualified nurses so we understand the
issues and concerns surrounding our clients as
well as the importance of maintaining high care
standards.
-
Our rates are fair and
competitive. Compare our rates with other
providers and you will be surprised at just how
high hourly rates can be and how reasonable ours
are! Contact us for a Rates
Sheet.
-
We do not have enhanced
rates after 6pm. Our rates remain the
same right up to 10pm.
-
Our rates are pro-rata. So,
for a half hour call you will only pay
half the hourly rate! We believe in a
simple and fair rate system.
-
We value our Carers. Without
them we would have no Caremark. You will find
your Carer to be quite content and happy working
as a Caremark employee - this means a better
service for you and Carer that stays!
-
... and many more differences that
make us STAND OUT as an excellent care
provider.
We are confident that you wont find a
better Home Care Service in Hertfordshire.

Q)
Is there a set minimum number of hours that I have to
have?
A) No. You can have from half an hour a
week to 24 hours a day. Your care is planned around you
and your needs.
Q) Is there a
minimum length of time per visit?
A) Yes. The minimum length of visit is 30
minutes. This is so that we may properly assess and
reassess your needs as well as maintain our high
standards of care. However, in some circumstances
we will deliver 15 minute care only when we can
maintain our high standards and the care does not
involve time related input. An example of a 15 minute
visit will be to monitor client health and well being or
to prompt medication. Our carers can not deliver
personal care in 15 minutes and still maintain our
good standards.
